Jennifer Swartz

Jennifer Swartz enjoys an exciting and active career as a soloist, chamber artist, orchestral musician and teacher. She embarked on her solo career with her debut with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra at the early age of sixteen. Since then, Ms. Swartz has appeared with the National Arts Centre Orchestra, Orchestra London, Regina Symphony Orchestra, Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra, I Musici, Les Grands Ballets Canadians, and frequently with the Orchestre Symphonique de Montreal. 

Ms. Swartz can be heard regularly in chamber and recital performances throughout Canada. She participates often in chamber festivals and has been heard frequently in broadcast concerts for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. Her recordings include CBC Radio Christmas Sing-In and Allegra on the Atma label. 

Principal Harpist of the Orchestre Symphonique de Montreal, Jennifer Swartz makes Montreal her home. Formerly, she was the Principal Harpist with the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra. Ms. Swartz is the head of the harp performance program at McGill University.
