IT WILL BE OUR GREATEST PLEASURE TO WELCOME YOU THE 2012 ORFORD FESTIVAL THIS SUMMER In respect of our tradition, we have prepared a rich and wide-ranging programme including prestigious recitals, major guest artists, chamber music, orchestras, jazz, ballet, conferences, many student concerts, a ciné-club, exhibitions, as well as a sacred music series at the Abbaye Saint-Benoît-du-Lac. DEBUSSY AND FRENCH MUSIC Our programme also includes several compositions by Claude Debussy, whose 150th birth anniversary is being celebrated in 2012, as well as works by Ravel, Poulenc, Dukas, Franck, Saint-Saëns, and other French composers. Brahms and Mozart will also share the spotlight in several major programmes. We await you at the very heart of nature, nestled at the foot of Mt Orford.
